Residential Building on Sharaf Rashidov Street
A typical example of enhanced residential housing design from the mid-1970s, this expansive seven-story building stretches along Sharaf Rashidov Street, its windows overlooking Blue Domes Boulevard.
ARCHIVE PHOTOS
Conceived through a custom, modernist design, the building comprises several blocks situated on Sharaf Rashidov Street (formerly known as Lenin Avenue) and Afrosiab Street (previously Cosmonauts Avenue). Its lower levels were reserved for commercial spaces, while the upper floors, overlooking the boulevard, were allocated for artists' studios.Regrettably, no archival records concerning this building have survived. However, research is ongoing, and we hope to update the information at the earliest opportunity.
